Residential demolition is high-risk work. These are the procedures, controls and insurance that sit behind every strip-out and asbestos removal job we run.
The same sequence applies whether it's a single bathroom or a full property strip-out.
Every job starts with a site walk-through to confirm access, services and hazards. A job-specific SWMS is prepared and briefed to the crew before any tool is picked up.
Negative-pressure containment, plastic sheeting and sealed entryways on asbestos work. Breakers and grinders run on dust extraction, and debris is bagged before it leaves the room.
Asbestos-containing materials are removed under our asbestos licence: wet-down methods, double-bagging, decontamination of tools and clothing, and clearance before the area is reopened.
Power, water and gas are isolated and tagged out before strip-out. We confirm walls and floors are non-load-bearing before removal, and never touch structural elements.
Respirators, coveralls, gloves, eye and hearing protection on every job. Barriers, signage and a clean exclusion zone keep owners, neighbours and other trades out of the work area.
Waste is sorted on site — timber, metal, plaster and hard waste separated for recycling. Asbestos is transported to a licensed facility with a documented chain of custody.
Documentation is available on request before works commence.

Labour, bin hire, disposal and any asbestos handling are priced up front. No mid-job surprises, no hidden variation for something we should have seen on inspection.
Floors, stairwells and retained walls are sheeted before we start. Dust stays in the work area, and the site is broomed out at the end of every day.
If we uncover unexpected asbestos, a load-bearing element or damaged services, work pauses and you're told immediately — with options, not a surprise invoice.
Sites are left ready for the next trade: debris removed, fixings pulled, surfaces sweep-clean, and clearance documentation supplied where asbestos work was involved.
We'll send our public liability certificate, asbestos licence and a sample SWMS before you engage us.
